Welcome Beginner Artists of all Ages

We want to make it convenient and easy for everyone to learn how to draw and paint. Starting this March, we will offer basic drawing classes on Monday evenings at the TCAT Livingston campus from 5:30-7:00pm. In April, we have basic painting classes. The price is just $10 per class. Supplies will be provided, or students can bring their own. Students can take just one class, or they can take them all. The classes will compliment each other, but students can pick and choose which classes to take based on interest and availability.

Classes are for high school age students and adults of all ages. You must be at least 14 years old to attend. Seniors are very welcome. No previous art education experience is required. Each class is capped at 20 students. Students must register by midnight the Friday before each Monday night class so that our instructor knows how many to expect and can adequately prepare.

Registration and payment are done online through this website. You must register for each class individually using the "Book Now" buttons for each class listed below.

As the year progresses, if there is a demand, we may offer more intermediate or advanced classes in drawing and painting. We also hope to offer special topic lessons and longer form workshops starting in the fall. Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on social media to learn more about these opportunities as they develop.
