Pablo Picasso presented by Faye Watts

On the third Thursday of most months, from 6-8 pm, art lovers, art-curious folks, and people just looking to spend time with a fun crowd will gather to socialize and take in a short presentation about a famous artist. The vibe will be casual and fun.

The presenter this month is Faye Watts, an artist and retired art teacher who taught at Cookeville High School and was an instructor at Cumberland University and Nashville State College. Her topic is Pablo Picasso. She will be interviewed by artist and educator Mitchell White.

Doors open at 6 pm for socializing. The program will start around 6:20 pm, last approximately 30 minutes, and be followed by more socializing until 8 pm.

The presentation will focus on showing representative works of art while sprinkling in fun facts about the artist, his techniques, and his relationship to other artists and art movements.
